SC Vital Fitness LTD have the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time and members are advised to check them at regular intervals.

Memberships

Membership 1 – 1 PT

SC Vital Fitness LTD have the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time and members are advised to check them at regular intervals.

The Membership Fee is there to provide access for up to 10 individualised programming sessions on the Personal Training Plus Package and 5 individualised programming sessions on the Personal Training Package per month. These sessions are defined as 1 – 1 Personal training with a training programme, with the addition of small group personal training gym sessions (2-6 people) small group personal training online sessions (2-8 people) with a training programme and large group training in the gym (12-16 people).

The following prices apply for 1 – 1 Personal Training:

Personal Training Plus £699 (10)

Personal Training £399 (5)

Membership Small Group PT

The Initial Period is for 6 months. The Membership Fee is there to provide access to all of your individualised programming sessions. These sessions are defined as small group personal training gym sessions (2-6 people) and additional large group training in the gym  (8-16 people).

The following price applies for an initial  30 day rolling or  a 6 month agreement with a 30-day cancellation policy after the initial period:

Focus – 3 x PT per week and 3 x large group training – £307 (rolling) – £277 (6 month) 

Results – 2 x PT per week and 3 x large group training – £277 (rolling) – £247 (6 month) 

Essentials – 1 x PT per week and 3 x large group training – £227 rolling – £207 (6 month) 

The Membership Fee is to be paid by Direct Debit. The Membership Fee is to be paid on the 1st of every month. Before signing up for membership please indicate that you have had your own personal health risk assessment done online.

PART A – Terms and Conditions of Membership

General

General

1 – 1 Personal training – includes the following:

  1. Personal training with a training programme for each day that you attend.
  2. Assigned Coach
  3. Free master classes on nutrition and exercise form.
  4. Access to any of the Small Group PT and Large group training sessions at no additional cost if there is space available.
  5. This is a full Personal Training Facility with no open gym.
  6. There is a 24-hour notice to cancel or change sessions for 1 – 1 Personal Training members unless there is an emergency.
  7. Training sessions last 50 minutes.

Small-Group Personal training – includes the following:

  1. Personal training with a training programme for each day that you attend, in person or with online video coaching.
  2. Assigned Coach
  3. Free master classes on nutrition and exercise form.
  4. Access to any of the team training sessions at no additional cost if there is space available online or in the gym.
  5. This is a full Personal Training Facility with NO OPEN GYM access.
  6. There is no carryover from month to the next if members miss training sessions. Members have 1 month only to attend their monthly training sessions that they are programmed for, either online or in-person.
  7. There is a 6-hour notice to cancel or change sessions for Small Group training members unless there is an emergency.
  8. Small-Group Personal Training sessions last 50 minutes. If members are late for a session, the warm-up will be modified by either decreasing the number of rest intervals between sets or by reducing the number of sets for that given day so that the session is completed before the next group starts.
  9. All Small-Group Personal Training sessions start on the hour and finish at 50 minutes past the hour to allow for changeover between groups.
  10. Membership freezes are not permitted.

Acceptance of Membership

The decision to accept the membership application of a potential member shall be at the sole discretion of the gym and we also reserve the right to verify or require proof of all information given in order to obtain membership.

If we accept your membership application, membership of the gym shall commence upon the first membership payment or upon the date of this agreement, whichever is the earlier.

The acceptance by the gym of a membership application shall constitute a legally binding agreement between us. You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement and those applicable to using the facility that can be found at part B of this agreement.

You have the right to end this agreement after the initial period, after the first 30 days of your membership application by giving us an email/written notice in accordance with the terms of this agreement. We have the additional option of paying for a monthly rolling that enables you to cancel with no notice period, please select this if you would rather have less commitment.

If you tell us to do anything in relation to this agreement or your membership we will accept that as authority from you.

Membership of the facility is personal to you and you are responsible under the terms of this agreement.

All of these terms and conditions of membership apply to you unless we tell you otherwise.

The gym will not refund Membership Fees if you choose not to attend the gym or sessions online.

SC Vital Fitness also reserves the right to change the level of fees from time to time, but guarantees that the level of your membership fees will NOT increase during your Commitment Period (first 30 days). We will give you at least 30 days written notice of any changes to the levels of membership fees.

You must keep to the rules and regulations for using the facility as set out in part B

Limitation of Liability

The gym cannot be held responsible for the facility not being available, to a material extent, for a continuous period of two weeks through circumstances beyond its control. If the facility or programmed sessions are unavailable for a continuous period of more than two weeks you will have full access to the online training provided by SC Vital Fitness LTD and therefore able to continue training with us with online video coaching.

The gym reserves the right to make reasonable alterations to the facility and classes provided on reasonable notice to you. The gym shall not be liable for any inconvenience caused by such alterations.

You should not take part in any physical activity that you may not be fit for. You are responsible for monitoring your own condition during physical activity.

You must tell the gym when you join anything that is relevant to your physical condition. You should keep this information up to date throughout your membership.

You are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition. If you suffer any unusual symptoms, you must immediately stop the activity and tell a member of staff.

You should not exercise while either injured or under medication prescribed by your doctor without first obtaining the prior approval of such doctor or contacting the coaching staff.

We do not accept liability for damage or loss to your property that may happen on the other than the liability which arises from our negligence or our failure to take reasonable care.

We do not accept liability for the injury or death of any member or guest that may happen on the premises other than the liability which arises from our negligence or our failure to take reasonable care.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is meant to limit any rights you might have as a consumer.

Types of Membership

The different types of membership are set out on the front page of the Membership Agreement. The gym may withdraw, vary or introduce new membership options from time to time.

Appropriate proof will be required from any member for the purpose of establishing eligibility for a discounted membership. Should evidence of eligibility not be provided within one month from the date of joining, the gym may upgrade to the headline rate prevailing at that time. Eligibility for discounted membership may be reviewed upon renewal or at any time during the membership period.

Changing your Membership

You can upgrade/downgrade your membership at any time during the initial period with 30 days notice.

The upgrade will take effect from 30 days of the first day of the month following the date we receive your request in writing. If you upgrade/downgrade your membership you will be required to enter into a new agreement with the gym and the existing agreement will end.

Ending your Membership

You are welcome to cancel your Personal Training membership programme at any time however you will still be liable for the full initial investment in the initial period of the programme chosen (6 month or rolling) and any subsequent payments on your membership. Any monies paid will be retained by SC Vital Fitness LTD and you will still be obliged to honour all payments in your agreed membership plan. SC Vital Fitness has a strict no refund policy.

At the end of the initial period, you may end your agreement by giving us no less than 30 days written notice that will take effect upon the expiry of the initial period.

N.B – You are still required to pay your membership in full for the following 30 days of your cancellation period and you must continue to pay your membership fees until your membership ends.

Your membership will end on the last day of the month following the completion of the 30 day notice period.

If you want to give notice, it must be in writing or by e-mail. Your notice is not effective until we have received it. We advise that when you give notice you get proof that we have received it.

Canceling your Membership

We will not tolerate our staff or other members being verbally abused or intimidated or being physically threatened. If we find this to be the case, we have the right to report you to the police, to ban you immediately and permanently from the facility and to cancel your entire membership.

We may also cancel your entire membership in the following circumstances:

If you break or repeatedly break the terms of this Membership Agreement or the facility rules as set out in part B and you do not or cannot put it right within seven days of us writing to you about it.

If we receive any complaint about your behaviour or if you persistently behave inappropriately, or if we believe that your continued membership is not in the interests of other members of the gym, we reserve the right to suspend or end your membership.

If we cancel your membership for any reasons set out above, we have the right to keep a proportion of the money you have paid under this agreement to cover any reasonable costs we have had to pay.

We calculate your membership in units of months. This means that anywhere in these terms and conditions where we ask you to give notice, apart from bookings, the period will be 30 days or one months, unless you have selected the monthly rolling membership.

From time to time we will need to contact you about your membership, so it is important you let us know if your address or email address, contact phone number or email address changes.

PART B – Rules and Regulations for Using the Facility

General health and safety

Your safety is our main priority.

To protect the safety of all members and guests, you must pay particular attention to all signs relating to health and safety in the Facility. If you do not understand a notice or sign please ask one of our team members.

You must wipe down all equipment after use, with the cleaning equipment provided. You must use the hand sanitisation stations provided before and after sessions

Fire exits are clearly marked throughout the facility. If there is a fire or if you hear the alarm, you should make your way out of the facility through the nearest possible exit to the advertised assembly point.

If you suffer an accident or injury on our premises, you must report it and the circumstances under which it happened to a member of staff immediately. You will be asked to fill out an accident report form.

For legal and health reasons, you must not smoke while using the gym.

While you are at the facility, we expect you to behave appropriately, respectfully and politely, and dress appropriately at all times.

We can prevent you from entering the facility or ask you to leave if we think that your behaviour or appearance is not suitable.

Gym Rules (PLEASE READ)

1) If you are ill/injured you can’t train and will need to leave the premises.

2) All members are to wipe down their equipment with the spray provided.

3) No towels in the gym

4) All sessions have a strict 1-hour booking and 6-hour cancellation policy, with no exceptions.

5) Access to the gym is only allowed 10 minutes prior to session start.

6) We simply cannot bend the rules, please don’t ask.

7) Autonomy is key to your success, take responsibility.

8) Don’t let a bad day become a bad workout.

9)A strong community is the start, we rise together.

10)Two way feedback is a gift, treasure it.

Personal Belongings

You bring all personal belongings to the facility at your own risk. We do not accept legal responsibility for any loss or damage to these items.

If you find lost property, you must hand it into reception.

Bookings

We operate a booking policy for all memberships. You must book your sessions giving at least 30 mins notice.

Our agreement with you is for access to the number of sessions as specified in this Agreement and in your programme. If you cannot attend all the sessions during the month for any reason, they will NOT be carried over to the next month.

We operate a sign in system for sessions and keep a record of the number of sessions attended.

If you cannot attend your session that you are booked onto you must cancel the sessions within the 6 hour window by using the app.

If you fail to cancel your session we reserve the right to treat that session as attended and it is at our sole discretion whether to rearrange.

We may change our booking terms and conditions from time to time and we will tell you about any changes.

Any member must use the facility in accordance with the advice provided by any representative of the gym and/or notices displayed. A member must not abuse the gym and the member will be responsible for any wilful damage or damage caused by negligent use.

The member and all persons covered by this Membership Agreement are required to behave in a reasonable and courteous manner so as not to be offensive or cause disturbance to the quiet enjoyment of the gym by other Members and/or their guests.

Membership may be terminated for violation of the gym rules or for conduct reasonably deemed by us to be detrimental to the welfare, good order or character of the gym and its members.

Consent

We often take pictures and videos in the gym, if you really don’t want any pictures (not naked!) or awesome videos of your progress let us know, say yes I don’t mind pics or no I’m too ugly for pics…
